1: Transfer Santiago to El Arpa for a full day of cat-skiing.
We will spend the night at Casa San Regis a restored 18th century
hacienda with dinner included.
Day 2: Full day cat-skiing at Ski Arpa. Night in
Casa San Regis with dinner.
Day 3: Full day Aconcagua Valley wine tour with
visits to two wineries and lunch at Errazuriz winery - one of Chile’s

Arpa Cat Skiing & Riding / Aconcagua Valley Wineries Extension Weekend
Truly one of the wildest skiing and snowboarding experiences on the continent,
El Arpa is South America’s only true snowcat-serviced resort and
provides skiers and snowboarders with untracked powder, no crowds, dramatic
views and ear-to-ear smiles typically available only through expensive
heliski operations. El Arpa is the lifelong work of Toni Sponar, one of
the most unique ski personalities you will ever encounter.
This alpine wonderland will set your spirit free. Unparalleled terrain,
excellent high altitude snow conditions, and views of Mount Aconcagua
(South America’s tallest peak) create an Andean snow adventure you
will never forget. In a typical day, at least four trips in the snowcat
will have you riding 13,000 vertical feet of some of the best untracked
powder in the world. At over 4,000 acres, an area equal in size to Valle
Nevado, you and your ski partners will be the only ones on the slopes.
A second option is for groups to spend one day skiing/riding at Portillo
and one day at El Arpa. For those who want to experience Chile’s
most famous ski area and have a day cat-skiing this is a great opportunity.
This itinerary is prefect for those who want to experience Portillo but
do not want to stay for the mandatory 7 day package.
For 2 evenings you will experience true Chilean culture and hospitality
at the Casa San Regis, a 19th century hacienda and family winery, where
we are treated to traditional Chilean cuisine and a variety of locally-grown
wines. On our return to Santiago we tour through the Aconcaqua Valley’s
fertile vineyards, including Errazuriz, Von Siebenthal, or San Esteban.
