Las Leñas is the most well known ski resort in Argentina. For years it has attracted the best of the best, who flock to Las Leñas to train and vacation during the Northern Hemisphere summer months. It is steep. Very steep.

While Las Leñas has been receiving huge amounts of press and attention, we at CASA only recommend this resort if you are looking for the best terrain. Snowfall, service, weather (wind), lift closures and prices are all bad at Las Leñas. Be warned, the Martes lift, the main access to good terrain, closes in almost every good storm. Still, the terrain is arguably the best in any resort in the world Plus, Las Lenas does not allow private cars in the village, so its got that going for it, which is nice.
