About

At
CASA - we are serious about having fun - but even more serious about
being safe on the mountain. In Chile and Argentina, some of the
best lines, freshest powder, and greatest terrain is accessible
in avalanche prone areas.
Depending on the snow conditions and weather, you will able to get
into the backcountry. If there is any question about stability on
a particular day, WE WILL NOT SKI/RIDE OUT OF BOUNDS on that day.
Every CASA guide is certified in Avalanche Saftey Awareness, has
a current First Aid/CPR certification, and has extensive experience
in backcountry skiing/riding. We provide the best, most modern avalanche
safety equipment, thanks to our generous sponsorship from SOS (Survival
on Snow) including probes, shovels and beacons. We also offer an
Avalanche Tranceiver Usage Class, mandatory for off-piste skiing
and riding.
